The drops are the core of it: seven drops about an hour before a hard moment, and again during it. The spray is the extra layer. Mist it over the place your dog goes when things get too much. Their bed, the crate, the bathroom mat, the gap behind the couch so it's already there when they get there.

It's the pair for the dog whose hard moments you can see coming. The storm on the forecast. New Year's Eve. The morning you have to leave them. The vet appointment that's been in the diary for a fortnight. Set up their space with the spray, give the drops, and nothing is left to the last minute.

Both are made from the same five Australian native bush flower essences: Boronia, Stylidium, Forrestiana, Brachysema and Isopogon. The spray adds organic lavender, chamomile, frankincense and bergamot essential oils.

The drops are suitable for dogs and cats. The spray is for dogs only. Never give it by mouth, and don't use it around cats.

Comfort & Calm drops

Shake well. Give 7 drops (0.35ml) by mouth as often as needed. They work best about an hour before a stressful moment and again during it. Give them off your hand, from a spoon, or straight in with the dropper or syringe provided. Best given away from food for good absorption.

Comfort & Calm Spray (dogs only)

Shake gently. Mist lightly over bedding, the crate, a car seat cover or their favourite resting spot. Never spray at the face or into the mouth. Use as needed.

Using them together

Mist their space first, then give the drops.

On a storm or fireworks night

Mist their bed or hiding spot early. Give the drops about an hour before it's due, again once it starts, and as often as needed while it passes. If a storm arrives without warning, give the drops straight away and mist their spot. Shut doors, gates and screen doors before it starts, and check their tag and microchip details are up to date. Storm nights are when dogs get out.

Can I use this with my cat?

The drops, yes. They're suitable for dogs and cats. The spray, no: it contains essential oils and isn't recommended for use around cats. If it's for a cat, choose the Comfort & Calm drops on their own.

Will it make my dog drowsy?

Comfort & Calm is made to help them settle, without making them drowsy. Owners tell us their dog is still completely themselves, just not frantic.
